Composer
Kyle writes what sounds good and he thinks jazz, Debussy, Copland, Beethoven, Ives and Bon Iver sounds good so he tries to incorporate those and other elements into his work. His platforms for composition include jazz combos and ensembles, classical chamber groups, orchestras, solo instruments, ensembles with pop sensibilities and the Digital Audio Interface Garage Band.
Kyle was commissioned by a director of the Illinois Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra to compose a work for their orchestra in the Spring of 2014. It was premiered in April. You can see the performance here when the video is uploaded on Youtube.
Kyle accepts commissions big and small and loves writing for his friends and neighbors. Kyle defies you to tell him to write something crazy for the hurdy-gurdy or something weird. Kyle loves a challenge.
